Yichong Xu (徐一翀)
I'm a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, working on the Gemini Models. Prior to that, I had a great time doing research at Character.AI working on multimodal large language models and chatbots, and at AI Cognitive Services Research Group in Microsoft working on NLP. I'm broadly interested in deep learning, large language models and their applications, especially with multiple modalities. Previously I have done research on knowledge graphs, commonsense reasoning, statistical machine learning, computer vision and game theory. I got my PhD in Machine Learning at CMU in 2020.
